The degree of inadequate oxygen delivery and perfusion to the tissues
Evidence
Severity of hypoperfusion may be categorised as compensated / uncompensated (Williams et al., 2013). The method for classifying the hypoperfusion states is described by Yet et al. (2014).
Excluded BN Elements
Respiratory rate and GCS are also suggested markers for the degree of Hypoperfusion. We did not included these in the TIC BN since their accuracy as a Hypoperfusion marker is poor compared to the included markers
