Evidence

The methodology for developing the model is presented by Yet et al. (2014).

Initial network structure was informed by a review of Trauma-Induced Coagulopathy mechanisms. Relevant articles were identified by an electronic search of the MEDLINE and EMBASE databases using a combination of the terms "trauma" and "coagulopathy". Searches were limited to English and human studies. The last search was performed on 31 October 2013. Studies that described the pathophysiology or mechanisms of trauma coagulopathy were included. Additional studies were identified from the reference lists of relevant articles. Overall, 797 citations were screened and 150 were reviewed for eligibility.
